Why we made an iPad case
I dropped my Kindle while feeding our newborn. My partner Ben built a strap to fix it, and that became Strapsicle. Four years on, 350,000+ people use it, including thousands with mobility conditions.
They kept asking for an iPad version. So we spent two years, seven trips to China and 29 prototypes getting it right.

Which iPads does it fit?
The iPad case fits iPad 10 and 11 (A16). The iPad mini case fits iPad mini 6 and 7 (A17). They are separate sizes, so pick the one for your model.
How heavy is it?
The case, cover and straps add 277.5 g on the iPad and 169 g on the iPad mini. It's slim, with high-impact protection.
Does it work with Apple Pencil?
Yes. There's a built-in Pencil strap. On iPad mini 6 and 7, Apple Pencil Pro charges through the case.
Will it help with arthritis, carpal tunnel or Parkinson's?
We design for these needs. The XO strap means you don't need grip strength to hold your iPad. It isn't medical advice, so check with your health professional if you're unsure.
Can I take the cover off?
Yes. It detaches completely in seconds and attaches with pins, not magnets.
Can I change the strap colour?
Yes. The straps pop in and out, and you can mix colours.
What if I change my mind?
We offer 30-day returns for change of mind or order errors. If something arrives faulty, send us a photo and we'll replace or refund it.
