How Strapsicle Works

Two silicone straps. Four corner pockets. No adhesive, no tools, nothing to snap on.

The mechanism, plainly

Every Strapsicle pack comes with two straps - one for your left hand, one for your right. Each strap wraps around two diagonally opposite corners of your Kindle or Kobo, forming four corner pockets that hold the device from its edges rather than its face. Your hand slides through the gap between the strap and the back of the device, so your palm carries the weight instead of your fingers pinching it shut.

There's no glue, no magnet, no clip, and no clasp to do up. You slip the strap on by stretching it over one corner, then the diagonal corner, and it's on. Taking it off is the same in reverse.

Left-handed and right-handed, on purpose

Every pack includes two straps because a strap fits one hand's grip, not both equally. Wear the right-handed strap when you're holding with your right hand, switch to the left-handed one when you swap - or if one wrist is tired and you want to give it a break without stopping reading.

Sizing: Small, Medium, Large

Straps come in three sizes, mapped to specific Kindle and Kobo models by their dimensions, not generic "S/M/L" guesswork. The right size means a snug wrap with no slipping; the wrong size either won't stretch over the corner cleanly or will sit loose. What it doesn't do

It doesn't work over a flip cover. The strap needs the device's bare corners to wrap around; a flip cover covers those corners too, so there's nothing exposed to hold onto. It isn't a screen protector. The strap covers the corners and edges, not the screen face - if you want screen coverage, that's a separate accessory. It isn't adhesive. Nothing bonds to your device. That's deliberate - it means no residue, no risk to your e-reader's finish, and it moves with you to a new device.

The anti-dust coating

Every strap is coated with an anti-dust finish that actually improves with use rather than wearing off - so the strap you've had for six months should be handling dust and pocket lint better than the one you just took out of the pack, not worse.
