Press & Recognition
Strapsicle didn't start as a business plan. It started with a dropped Kindle.
The story, in one paragraph
Lou dropped a Kindle on their baby during a late-night feed in Sydney - the kind of moment every exhausted parent recognises, one arm full, and the device just slipping. That's the entire origin of Strapsicle: two silicone straps that wrap around an e-reader's corners so it can't slip out of a tired hand the way that one did. Strapsicle has since served 350,000 customers worldwide, appeared on Shark Tank Australia, previewed products at CES 2026, and launched iPad cases through Kickstarter. The company is now run from Bali.
Patents
Strapsicle's wrap-around strap design holds granted and pending patents across the US, UK, EU, Australia and China.
